My name is Michael Plewman and I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and I'm a native speaker of the English language.

I'm an extremely enthusiastic young adult with a wealth of teaching experience.
I recently got back from China where I taught English as a volunteer (I was part of a volunteer exchange program ) at a primary school for a month. I also started a small English school that lasted for about two weeks (during the Chinese new year) on a volunteer basis again. I'm now back in Canada and I teach swimming lessons to children and adults as a part time job. I've been doing this for 5 years now and I have very good understanding of how people learn. I also tutor a young Korean girl English on a weekly basis.

I'm currently enrolled in Mechanical Engineering (undergraduate) at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. I know the fact that I don't have a university degree yet may be perceived as a bad thing, however, I am confident that I am better equipped to teach English than the majority of people who have simply completed their undergraduate degree.
